Õigusasutused, mis esitavad õigusabi taotlusi välisriigile ja lahendavad oma pädevuse kohaselt välisriigist saabunud õigusabi taotlusi, on Eesti Vabariigi kohtud, Riigiprokuratuur, Justiitsministeerium ja Siseministeerium.
Eesti halduskohtu erinõuded välisriigi õigusorganitele ja välisriigi õigusorganite erinõuded Eesti halduskohtule esitatakse ja täidetakse käesoleva seadustiku ning välislepingutega sätestatud korras.
The Contracting Parties undertake to ensure that their police authorities shall, in compliance with national legislation and within the limits of their responsibilities, assist each other for the purposes of preventing and detecting criminal offences, insofar as national law does not stipulate that the request is to be made to the legal authorities and provided the request or the implementation thereof does not involve the application of coercive measures by the requested Contracting Party.
Paragraph 1 shall not prejudice the possibility of requests being sent or returned in specific cases:
(a) between a central authority of a Member State and a central authority of another Member State; or
(b) between a judicial authority of one Member State and a central authority of another Member State.
