  • Üürilepinguga on tegemist, kui lepingu esemeks on lihtsalt asja teise isiku kasutusse andmine. Rendilepinguga on aga tegemist siis, kui lepingu objektiks on lisaks asja teise isiku kasutusse andmisele ka asjast saadavate viljade jäämine rentnikule. See tähendab, et rentimisega on tegemist siis, kui lepingu objekt on mõeldud viljade ja kasu saamiseks (nt põllumajanduslik maa).
