Usage examples
  • 1. Converter transformers, lightning arresters, switches, filter capacitors, and measuring devices are installed outdoors in the switchyard. The control switchboard, electronic valves, and maintenance rooms are located in the substation building.
  • 2. Power plants other than nuclear power plants are complete power stations not fuelled by nuclear power - or parts thereof - comprising all components, equipment, materials and services, including the training of personnel, directly required for the construction and commissioning of such non-nuclear power stations. Not included are items for which the buyer is usually responsible, in particular, cost associated with land development, roads, construction village, power lines, switchyard and water supply, as well as costs arising in the buyer's country from official approval procedures e.g., site permit, construction permit, fuel loading permit).
