  • (1) Asitõend on kuriteo objektiks olnud asi, kuriteo toimepanemise vahend, kuriteojäljega asi, kuriteojäljest valmistatud jäljend või tõmmis või kuriteosündmusega seotud muu asendamatu objekt, mis on kasutatav tõendamiseseme asjaolude selgitamisel.

  • (1) ‘Item of physical evidence’ means a the object or material that constituted an element of the criminal offence committed, the means used to commit that offence, an object bearing indicia of the criminal offence, an impression or a print made of such indicia, or any other unique object that is related to the criminal event and that can be used to ascertain the circumstances that constitute the subject matter of evidence.
