  • (1) Hooneühistu on tulundusühistu, mille eesmärk on toetada ja soodustada oma liikmete majanduslikke huve läbi ühise majandustegevuse kinnisasja või hoonestusõiguse ning selle osaks oleva hoone (edaspidi kinnisasi) omamisel ja valitsemisel, võimaldades hooneühistu liikmetel hoone kindlaksmääratud osade ainukasutust.
