If the active substance is chemically specified and possesses antimicrobial activity at feed concentration level, studies of the antibacterial spectrum of action of the additive by determination of the minimum inhibition concentration (MIC) in various pathogenic and non-pathogenic Gram-negative and Gram-positive species of bacteria must be provided.
