Domain analytical chemistry
  • a form of gas chromatography in which the fixed phase (column packing) is a liquid solvent distributed on an inert solid support
gas-liquid chromatography
Good to know
  • The physical states of the mobile and stationary phases give rise to four basic types of chromatography: gas-liquid chromatography (GLC), gas-solid chromatography (GSC), liquid-liquid chromatography (LLC), and liquid-solid chromatography (LSC). Of the four basic types of chromatography, the two gas systems are independent and not subject to subdivisions. Thus the terms "gas-liquid chromatography" and "gas-solid chromatography" adequately identify the techniques involved. The liquid systems are not as easily described and are not mutually exclusive, which can lead to considerable confusion.

Domain metrologymeasuring procedures
  • kromatograafia, mille puhul liikuva kandekeskkonnana kasutatakse gaasi ja statsionaarse söötmena vedelikku ja mis on tavaliselt kasutatav kui lipiidide analüüsimeetod
  • chromatography employing a gas as the moving carrier medium and a liquid as the stationary medium, and is a commonly used method for lipid analysis
gaasivedelikkromatograafia preferred
Usage examples
  • Gaasivedelikkromatograafia kasutab vedelat faasi, mille statsionaarsete faasidena on pakitud aluspõhi, paber ja õhukesed plaadid.
gaasikromatograafia variant
gas-liquid partition chromatography preferred
Usage examples
  • Gas-liquid partition chromatography is a liquid phase with a packed bed, paper, and thin plates as stationary phases.
