The surface of a paved taxiway should be so constructed or resurfaced as to provide suitable surface friction characteristics.
The aerodrome operator shall: ... (3) take corrective maintenance action when the friction characteristics for either the entire runway or a portion thereof, when uncontaminated, are below a minimum friction level. The frequency of these measurements shall be sufficient to determine the trend of the surface friction characteristics of the runway.
