  • Slängis kutsutakse nimedega: valge hiinlane, fenta, pärslane, pers, kitajets, apelsin. Välimuselt on tegu peeneteralise kristallilise valge pulbriga, mida süstitakse, suitsetatakse või tõmmatakse ninna. Toime on sarnane heroiiniga, kuid mõju on tugevam ja lühiaajalisem. Illegaalsele narkoturule jõuavad fentanüülid põrandaalustest narkolaboritest. Tänaval müüakse fentanüüli ja/või metüülfentanüüli tihti heroiiniga segatuna. Kuna annused on väga väikesed (0,015–0,030 grammi), on üleannustamise oht suur. Samuti tekitab fentanüül kiiresti väga tugevat vaimset ja füüsilist sõltuvust.
