The factor indicates the number of local units in the population that each local unit in the sample represents. Grossing-up factor for employees: The grossing-up factor for employees is the factor by which the number of employees in the sample need to be multiplied to obtain population estimates. For each local unit, it will be based on the number of the employees sampled within the unit and the total number of employees in the local unit, combined with the grossing-up factor for the local unit.
