Immediately after the centrifugation a volume of the supernatant is mixed with equal parts of suitably diluted divalent antiserum to IPN virus (reference strains Sp and Ab) and incubated with this for a minimum of one hour at 15?C or a maximum of 18 hours at 4?C.
