Ingliskeelsete sõnade/terminite "command" ja "control" vastendamisel tuleb tähele panna mõistet ja konteksti. Näiteks on käsuõiguse liikide kontekstis õige kõnelda juhtimisõigusest, mitte kontrolli(mis)õigusest, sest sõnade "kontroll" ja "kontrollima" tähendus on eesti keeles oluliselt kitsam kui inglise keeles. Eesti keeles on "juhtimine" laiem mõiste ja selle üks etapp või osa on "kontrollimine", mistõttu on ingliskeelne fraas "command and control" eesti keeles lihtsalt "juhtimine". Samas on lahingutoiminguna õige kasutada verbi "kontrollima", mitte "juhtima".
