The GNP at market prices shall be calculated by the Statistical Office of the European Communities, on the basis of statistics prepared according to the European System of Integrated Economic Accounts (ESA), and corresponding, for each Member State, to the arithmetic mean of the first three years of the five-year period preceding the financial year in respect of which the provisions of Article 2 (7) of Decision 88/376/EEC, Euratom have been applied. N* account shall be taken of any revisions of statistical data made after the final adoption of the budget.
