  • Taimedes sisaldab fotokeemilise reaktsiooni keskuses kaks klorofüll a molekuli (P700). Oksüdeerib plastotsüaniini ja redutseerib ferredoksiini. Valgusega ergastumisel tekitab tugeva redutseerija NADP jaoks ja nõrga oksüdeerija.
  • In plants, it contains two chlorophyll a molecules (P700) in the photochemical reaction centre. Oxidizes plastocyanin and reduces ferredoxin. Light exitation creates a strong reducer for NADP and a weak oxidizer.
