subordinate to the NATO Committee for Standardisation. Its principal task is to harmonise standardisation policies and procedures and to coordinate standardisation activities. It is responsible for staff liaison and for the preparation of related documentation, contributing, inter alia, to the formulation of Military Standardisation Requirements by the Strategic Commands and the drafting of Standardisation Objectives for the NATO Standardisation Programme.
