The general mission of the Institute is to contribute to the development of management researchers and teachers in Europe.
The Institute fosters a research approach that brings relevant theory and techniques from different disciplines to bear on practical management problems in European organizations and encourages a high degree of openness toward cross-cultural and international communication.
This general mission leads to the formulation of the following objectives : to contribute to the development of and to sustain a network of management researchers and teachers in Europe; to organize conferences, seminars and workshops on research in disciplines relevant to management; to encourage and facilitate the initiative and coordination of joint research; to enhance the development and the quality of European doctoral student education.
