(3) Tervise- ja keskkonnaohutuse mittekliiniline uuring (edaspidi uuring) on katse või katsete sari, mille käigus uuritakse ainet laboritingimustes või keskkonnas, et saada aine füüsikaliste ja keemiliste omaduste ning tervise- ja keskkonnaohtlikkuse kohta andmeid.
