§ 2. Päästeteenistus (1) Päästeteenistus käesoleva seaduse mõistes on töötamine päästeteenistujana päästeasutuses. (2) Päästeteenistus on ka teenistus päästeteenistuja ametikohal sisekaitselise rakenduskõrgkooli päästeeriala õppe struktuuriüksuses (edaspidi Päästekolledž). (3) Päästeteenistus on avaliku teenistuse eriliik.
