(3) Taastamine on käesoleva seaduse § 2 lõike 1 punktides 1–3 nimetatud keskkonnakahju korral kahjustatud elupaiga, liigi, kaitstava ala või vee ja nende pakutavate hüvede algse seisundi saavutamine. Taastamine hõlmab ka looduslikku taastumist.
