  • 9) reeder – isik, kes valdab laeva ja kasutab seda oma nimel ning on kantud vastavasse laevaregistrisse. Reederina käsitatakse ka isikut, kes on võtnud laeva omanikult lepinguga kohustused ja vastutuse laeva meresõiduohutusalase korraldamise ja tehnilise teenindamise eest vastavalt rahvusvahelise konventsiooni inimelude ohutusest merel alusel kehtestatud laevade ohutu ekspluateerimise ja reostuse vältimise korraldamise rahvusvahelisele koodeksile (edaspidi ISM koodeks);

  • 9) “operator” means a person who is in possession of a ship and uses it in the operator’s own name and has been entered in the respective register of ships. An operator is also a person who has taken over the obligations and liability for managing the maritime safety and technical service of a ship from the owner of the ship under a contract pursuant to the International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution Prevention (hereinafter ISM Code) established on the basis of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea;

  • § 5. Reeder Reeder käesoleva seaduse tähenduses on meresõiduohutuse seaduses nimetatud isik või muu isik, kes meretöölepingu sõlmimisega võtab endale töösuhtes tööandja õigused, kohustused ja vastutuse.
