  • (1) Investeering käesoleva seaduse tähenduses on poolte kokkuleppel või õigusaktil põhinev nõue, millest tulenevalt investeerimisasutus on kohustatud investorile: 1) välja maksma raha, mis võlgnetakse või mis kuulub investorile ja mida investeerimisasutus on investori arvel hoidnud või käsutanud seoses investeerimisteenuste osutamisega; 2) üle andma väärtpaberid, mis võlgnetakse või mis kuuluvad investorile ja mida investeerimisasutus on investori arvel hoidnud, käsutanud või valitsenud seoses investeerimisteenuste osutamisega

  • (1) For the purposes of this Act, an investment is a claim which is based on an agreement between the parties or on legislation and pursuant to which an investment institution is required to: 1) repay the money owed to or belonging to investors and held or managed for their account by the investment institution in connection with the provision of investment services; 2) return to investors the securities owed to or belonging to them and held, managed or administered for their account by the investment institution in connection with the provision of investment services.
