(2) Toidu käitlemine (edaspidi käitlemine) käesoleva seaduse tähenduses on tegevus Euroopa Parlamendi ja nõukogu määruse (EÜ) nr 178/2002 artikli 3 lõikes 16 sätestatud toidu tootmise, töötlemise ja turustamise etappides.
