(2) Üleujutus käesoleva seaduse tähenduses on harilikult veega katmata maa-ala ajutine kattumine veega, sealhulgas üleujutus, mis on põhjustatud vooluveekogu veetaseme tõusust või mere veetaseme tõusust rannikualal.
