(1) Seade on surve-, gaasi- või elektriseade, masin või nendest koosnev tehnosüsteem või muu objekt, milles sisalduv energia või fluidum või millega toimuv protsess tekitab oma olemuse tõttu isegi asjatundjalt oodatava hoolsuse rakendamise korral ohu inimese elule või tervisele, asjale või keskkonnale.
