  • (1) Sertifitseerimine on menetlus, mille käitleja kirjaliku taotluse alusel korraldab kolmas sõltumatu osapool (edaspidi sertifitseerimisasutus), et tõendada käitleja kvaliteedisüsteemi või konkreetse käideldava toidu vastavust nõuetele, millele vastavuse tõendamist taotletakse.
