§ 41. Kaitseliidu relv (1) Kaitseliidu relv on Kaitseliidu ülesannete täitmiseks riigi poolt Kaitseliidule kasutada antud või Kaitseliidu või tegevliikme soetatud relv. (2) Kaitseliidu relvale kohaldub lisaks käesolevas seaduses sätestatule relvaseaduse 1. peatükk ning 2. peatüki §-d 11–17, 201 ja 21. (3) Kaitseliidu relv kantakse sõjaväerelvade registrisse. (4) Kaitseliidu relv, mis on soetatud kasutamiseks sportimisel, õppetöös või kollektsioneerimiseks, ei ole relvaseaduse tähenduses sõjarelv.

§ 41. Weapon allotted to Defence League (1) A weapon allotted to the Defence League is a weapon provided by the state to the Defence League for use in the performance of the tasks of the Defence League or a weapon acquired by the Defence League or an active member of the Defence League. (2) Chapter 1 and §§ 11–17, 201 and 21 of Chapter 2 of the Weapons Act shall be applied to a weapon allotted to the Defence League in addition to the provisions of this Act. (3) A weapon allotted to the Defence League shall be entered into the Register of Weapons of Armed Forces. (4) A weapon allotted to the Defence League which is acquired for use in sporting, studies or for collection is not a military weapon for the purposes of the Weapons Act.
