- New menu and footer. The footer now contains administrative information, and the menu includes products related to Sõnaveeb.
- New page for recent dictionary additions. A new page shows the words added to the Combined Dictionary by year. New entries appear there the day after they are added to the Combined Dictionary.
- Simplified feedback form. The feedback link is now in the footer. The form is simpler—only one field is required, with the option to leave an email address.
- "ÕS explains" block more visible. The “ÕS explains” block is now highlighted in blue in the right-hand column of search results, making it more noticeable.
- All boxes in the right-hand panel are now always shown, even if they are empty—this way, users know what kind of information could appear there.
Notifications are now displayed only on the landing page.
- In the right-hand column are compound word lists where the searched word is either the first or last part of a compound word.
- Improved etymological coverage for previous entries.
- Picture dictionaries now contains data for German.
19.06.2025Improvements in the user interface.
- If a word is a sign, chemical formula, etc., which is the same in all languages, its language can be set to "multilingual". In this case, the globe icon will be displayed instead of the language code in Sõnaveeb. The multilingual "language" cannot be selected in the language filter, it is always selected by default.
- A speech synthesis service has been added to paradigm forms. If the form has not been read by a human voice, you can listen to the speech synthesized form. In the case of speech synthesis, a speaker icon will be displayed throughout Sõnaveeb, and in the case of an authentic human voice, a person icon will be displayed.
- The language advice phone number can now be found in the footer.
- The search term in the Sõnaveeb is now in the page title, which means that it is also displayed in the browser tab title and when right-clicking on the back button.
- For English and German language sections, you can click on the SkELL logo to go there to make a query with the same word.
- In the general language section, full synonyms are now displayed after the "Synonyms" heading and partial synonyms after the "Similar meaning" heading.
- The type number is displayed in the word form paradigms block even if the paradigm is not the preferred paradigm.

The terminological dictionaries are regularly updated and edited.
