... a multinational group of joint training experts, will support the NTG by providing a forum to discuss and develop joint individual training with the following objectives: 1. To improve the quality of joint combined individual training. 2. To encourage cooperation and mutual understanding in combined and joint individual training among member nations by exchanging information on training matters and by offering training opportunities. 3. To initiate multinational joint individual training projects, where a need is not being adequately covered by existing projects. 4. To improve cost-effectiveness in joint combined individual training including the identification of opportunities to share individual training capabilities, facilities and technologies. 5. To improve interoperability by achieving uniform standards of skill in joint individual training, together with the use of common training equipment, training doctrine and procedures in cooperation with NATO Military Authorities. 6. To cooperate with other NATO and national bodies in the field of joint individual training. 7. To act as a coordinating committee within the NTG on request of the CM, NTG. [NATO-WWW]
