premise line
a one- or two-sentence description of the story (Haddad 2005), a verbalization of the central idea (FILMTERM) - an extremely short description of the plot, characters, theme, and genre of a screenplay used to pitch or synopsize scripts during the development stage (Austin Community College, 2014).
