The United States and the European Union stress in particular the importance of the NSG policy of requiring IAEA safeguards on all nuclear activities, present and future, as a condition for transfer to any non-nuclear weapon State of any nuclear facilities, equipment, components or materials on the NSG and ZANGGER Committee trigger list, and of the NSG arrangement for the control of nuclear-related dual-use equipment, material and related technology.
