Aid per hectare shall be granted to producers and producer groups and organizations which undertake a programme of initiatives, approved by the competent authorities, with a view to the development and diversification of production and/or the improvement of the quality of the fruit, vegetables, flowers and live plants listed in Chapters 6, 7, and 8 and the tea in Chapter 9 of the combined nomenclature. Such programmes shall, in particular, concern tropical products.
