ex works (also ex factory) - denoting delivery terms for goods in which the buyer has to pay for transporting them away from the factory that made them, factory costs - costs of producing goods which have been incurred in the area of the factory; these include materials, factory labour, costs of machinery, and costs of factory buildings, but not mark-up or profit, ex works - tehasest.
