Tulenevalt sularahanõudluse vähenemisest, vajadusest suurendada arveldussüsteemi likviidsuspuhvreid ning vähendada sularaha hoidmisega seonduvaid turvalisuse riske, peab Eesti Pank vajalikuks vähendada sularahakassa arvestatavust kohustuslike reservide täitmisel.
