  • sõidukite liikluseks ettenähtud teeosa. Jalgrattatee ning jalgratta- ja jalgtee ei ole sõidutee. Teel võib olla mitu eraldusribadega eraldatud sõiduteed. Samal tasandil lõikuvad sõiduteed moodustavad sõiduteede lõikumisala. Sõiduteeäärt näitab asjakohane teemärgis või selle puudumisel teepeenra, eraldus-, haljas- või muu riba äär, rentsli põhi või sõidutee äärekivi. Kui sõiduteega samal tasandil asuvad mõlemasuunalised trammiteed on sõidutee ühes servas, on mitterööbassõidukite sõidutee ääreks sõiduteepoolne trammirööbas.
