a specific document identifying the goods, in which the authority or body empowered to issue it certifies expressly that the goods to which the certificate relates originate in a specific country. Specific forms for certificates of origin have been laid down in Annex D.2 to the Kyoto Convention and in the framework of preferential arrangements such as the Generalized System of Preferences.
Üldisest soodustussüsteemist (Generalized System of Preferences) tulenevate tollimaksusoodustuste saamiseks väljastab toll Eesti päritoluga eksporditava kauba kohta päritolusertifikaadi vorm A ja teostab selle järelkontrolli. Kauba päritolusertifikaadi vorm A väljaandmise ja täitmise korra kehtestab Vabariigi Valitsus.
Articles 23 to 26 define the non-preferential origin of goods for the purposes of: (a) applying the Customs Tariff of the European Communities with the exception of the measures referred to in Article 20 (3) (d) and (e); (b) applying measures other than tariff measures established by Community provisions governing specific fields relating to trade in goods; (c) the preparation and issue of certificates of origin.
