Wine originating in the United States of America, the description and presentation of which conforms to the provisions in force in that country but which does not conform to Regulation (EEC) N° 2392/89 and to this Regulation, may be held for sale and put into circulation until stocks are exhausted, provided that it has been imported into the Community not later than 31 December 1982, that no risk of confusion as to the nature, origin or provenance or composition of the wine can arise, and that the wine is not designated a quality wine psr.
