In accordance with Council Regulation (EEC) No 1907/90 on certain marketing standards for eggs (OJ L 173/90) the laying date may be indicated on eggs and packs as an optional measure, provided the provisions of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1274/91 (OJ L 121/91) are respected.
