If one of the figures used for calculating the price difference referred to in paragraph 2 is not available for one or more basic products, the Commission shall replace the missing figure with the corresponding figure for the closest period
available, corrected, where appropriate, by the monthly gradation of payments or with any other known details affecting comparison between the missing figure and the figure chosen to replace it.
