a survey made by ground methods (as distinguished from an aerial survey) and includes control surveys, cadastral surveys, topographic surveys and location surveys. A ground survey may or may not include the use of ground photographs but does include the use of aerial photographs for preliminary research or check purposes.
Prospecting as included in Article 70 of the Euratom Treaty will be treated from the point of view of eligibility of proposals as covering:
1. Regional uranium exploration i.e.
- Regional airborne programmes
- Regional ground surveys.
