Reisijad soovivad olla ühe rohkem kaasatud reisiteenuste loomisse. Kõrge kaasatuse tõttu on hakatud reisijatest rääkima kui loovtarbijatest (prosumer). Loovtarbija puhul on tarbija samaaegselt ka teenuse looja (tootja). See tähendab, et tarbija osaleb teenuse loomises ning see moodustab olulise osa tema poolt saadavast kogemusest.
In particular tourism operators must pay attention to the rise of the prosumer. The prosumer is one who is actively involved in the design of the product – ever-increasing levels of Internet interactivity have underpinned and nurtured this movement. Consumers can now actively and deliberately take part in the process of design, shaping or even producing a product or serv-ice knowing it is for them. Increasingly consumers are becoming active participants instead of passive audience members.
