Street Scene suggests a range of topics and activities for implementation at the whole school level including:
• Organising a working bee to ‘spot the hazards’ • Encouraging cross-age tutoring • Researching pedestrian safety • Scripting and developing a pedestrian safety video • Organising a school road safety week • Placing safety hints in the newsletter • Providing safety check lists for cyclists • Making drop-off and pick-up times safer • Developing a traffic safety education policy
