The addition by a vehicle manufacturer to an approved vehicle of standard domestic or business equipment, other than mobile communication equipment which complies with Directive 89/336/EEC, and is installed according to the recommendations of the equipment and vehicle manufacturers, or the substitution or removal thereof, shall not invalidate the vehicle approval.
