It should be incumbent on the Director of the Office to ensure the protection of personal data and respect for confidentiality of information gathered in the course of investigations; whereas officials and other servants of the Communities should be assured of legal protection equivalent to that provided for by Articles 90 and 91 of the Staff Regulations.
