On the basis of current scientific and technical knowledge, it would also appear that the evidence presented by the Kingdom of Sweden does not justify a ban on the antibiotic flavophospholipol of the phosphoglycopeptide group since no substance belonging to the same group is to date used in veterinary or human medicine and flavophospholipol, in the current state of knowledge, does not select cross-resistance to antibiotics used in human or veterinary medicine.
