The ERDF may finance, up to a limit of 0,5 % of its annual allocation, the preparatory, prior appraisal, monitoring and ex post evaluation measures necessary for the implementation of this Regulation carried out by the Commission or by
outside experts. They shall include studies, among them studies of a general nature concerning Community regional action, and technical assistance or information measures, including, in particular, measures to provide information for local
and regional development agents.
