Kehakaalu alandamise dieetides kasutatav vähendatud energiasisaldusega toit (edaspidi vähendatud energiasisaldusega toit) on selline eritoit, mis vastavalt tarvitamisjuhisele valmistatult katab osaliselt või täielikult päevase toiduenergia ja toitainete vajaduse.
