After this publication, the Commission received a request for a review pursuant to Article 11 (2) of Regulation (EC) No 384/96, hereinafter referred to as the 'Basic Regulation', with regard to imports of gas-fuelled, non-refillable pocket flint lighters originating in Japan, lodged by the European Federation of Lighter Manufacturers on behalf of BIC S.A. and Flamagas S.A.
