Community action programme intended to contribute to the development of quality education and training and the creation of an open European area for cooperation in education. This programme shall comprise the following three areas of action: higher education (Erasmus), school education (Comenius), horizontal activities in the areas of: language skills in the Community (Lingua), open and distance education, promotion of the exchange of information and experience (including Eurydice and Arion)
