Community support for early retirement (Articles 10 to 12), less-favoured areas and areas with environmental restrictions (Articles 13 to 21), agri-environment (Articles 22 to 24) and afforestation (Article 31) shall be financed by the EAGGF Guarantee Section throughout the Community.
Community support for other rural development measures shall be financed by the EAGGF:
- Guidance Section in areas covered by Objective 1,
- Guarantee Section in areas not covered by Objective 1. ...
The EAGGF Guarantee Section may, on the initiative of the Commission, finance studies related to rural development programming.
