NATO peakorteri infosüsteemide teenistus pakub infosüsteemide alast tuge nii Põhja-Atlandi Nõukogule, Kaitseplaneerimiskomiteele ja Sõjalisele Komiteele kui ka allkomiteedele ja neid toetavale personalile. Lisaks sellele pakub ISS süsteemide projekteerimise, arendamise ja hoolduse alast tuge rahvusvahelisele sekretariaadile ja sõjalisele standardiametile. See toetab kriisiohjamise, aga ka registri- ja dokumendihaldusteenistuse, finants- ja personalijuhtimise infosüsteemide ning relvajõudude planeerimise alast tegevust.
